Not many people can stand the sight of a python, or snakes in general. It scares the hell out of many of us. But what are you supposed to do when you find ‘the father of all pythons’ trapped in a drum in your backyard? You rescue it. That is what a man recently did when he found a massive python stuck in a drum full of thick tar at a construction site.
The huge snake reportedly fell into the drum and drowned while it was struggling to get out. Fortunately, wildlife activist showed up just at the right time and pulled the snake out of the thick and sticky black liquid.
The activist, identified as Saurav Borkotoki, was informed about the huge snake by a member of the public who spotted it frantically trying to get out of the drum.
"When I got to the construction site, I saw the python lying still in one the tar drums. After taking a closer look, I realised the snake had fallen unconscious and had apparently struggled long enough to free itself from the sticky material,” says Borkotoki.
The activist took the snake home, cleaned it up to remove tar from its sin, and then released it back into the wild after it had fully recovered and regained strength.
