Gender Minister, Otiko Djaba, who was accompanied by the new Labor Minister, Ignatius Baffour Awuah, on her visit to the Marwako Abelenkpe branch said that she has given the Labor Ministry up to a week to submit a detailed report on the assault incident.

The allegedly assault has prompted widespread criticism from the public, to the extent that the Minister for Gender, Children, and Social Protection join the litany critical voices calling for justice to be delivered.
The supervisor on the other hand, has issued a somewhat lukewarm statement, saying "True to God, all I sought to do was to point you to something I found wrong," and so on.
But according to the Public Relations Officer of the Accra Regional Police Command, ASP Afia Tengey, authorities have decided to meet Miss Evelyn Boakye in order to discuss the best way forward towards delivering justice.
