According to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Secretary for Greater Accra Region, Victor Quarshie Adonoo, although President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been in active politics for more than 40 years, he is not prepared enough to lead and govern the country.
Mr. Adonoo believes there is evidence of total unpreparedness in the way President Akufo-Addo conducts himself on issues of national interest, like how he fumbled with leadership issues during his swearing in ceremony as well as the presentation of the State of Nation’s Address (SONA).
“The image of Ghana’s, reputation and future of this country is at jeopardy, the president’s appearance and demeanor must be looked at. There is total display of unpreparedness in the way he conducts himself in issues pertaining to national development,” Mr. Quarshie Adonoo said in a statement.
The NDC Greater Accra Regional Secretary also claimed the Akufo-Addo administration’s incompetence has led it to contract foreigners to manage the economy for the next six months.
