Ghana's most talked about and controversial politician, Kofi Wayo, has finally bowed out of politics.
The founder of the United Renaissance Party (URP) has revealed that his next aim in life is to "assist farmers in the villages with implements and other logistics unlike their MPs who are cruising in land cruisers and don’t care about them”.
“While you guys were at the independence square dancing and making some useless noise, I was in the farm working. These farmers need first aid and I want government to institute measures to make healthcare accessible to them. I am celebrated being in the village giving exercise books and cutlasses to the poor farmers who need them”, he stated in an interview with the media.
Kofi Wayo leaves politics as one of the most alternate choice for the presidency having laid out alternative measures to tackle the ailing economy and improve the lot of Ghanaians.
