Residents of Ejisu have taken to the streets to protest President Nana Akufo-Addo's appointment of a new MDCE, and they're threatening even worse protests if the president doesn't listen to them.
According to the group which is largely made up of elderly women of the constituency, President Nana Akufo-Addo should appoint someone from the Ejisu constituency and not an outsider as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the locality.
Speaking on a video uploaded by Ghanaweb, the group has threatened to go on a protest in front of Jubilee House, the seat of government, stark naked if President Nana Akufo-Addo does not heed their warning and appoint someone from Ejisu as the constituency's MCE.
