You can trust Ghanaians that in less than 48 hours since award winning rapper, Okyeame Kwame released the video for his latest single, Saucing, he has come under heavy criticism for getting his children to feature in the song and video.
In the new music project, OK features his two children Sante and Sir in a never seen before display of talent by such youngsters in Ghana.
But when asked in an interview on the breakfast show #RYSENSHYNE on Y102.5FM in Kumasi, Okyeame Kwame reveals he sees no problem in his latest venture since the kids were not forced into music.
“Music is in my father’s DNA and so far as you are born into that line, you can’t run away from it. It’s a precious gift to my family. If you follow my Instagram accounts, you realize how my kids get to play with words. It’s something they love to do.

Would you believe I once asked my daughter Sante to scratch my back for me because it was itching and she said, “Daddy, everyday scratch my back, why? Am I your DJ? You can go to my family house right now and it will shock you how my nephews get to rap,” OK added.
Asked if he will continue to work with his kids on future projects, Okyeame Kwame revealed he was yet to think about it since they were only playing around on Saucing.
He also explained any future thoughts of a project could be informed by how his kids manage their new found fame.
