Adwoa Safo appointed minister for public procurement

President Nana Akufo-Addo has appointed Adwoa Safo, the deputy majority leader in parliament, as a minister of state at the presidency.

Safo, who is also the Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, will be in charge of public procurement.

Akufo-Addo also announced the appointment of three other ministers.

They are:

Minister of state at the Office of the President – Hon. Brian Acheampong

Minister of state at the Ministry of Agriculture – Dr. Nurah Gyeile

Minister of state at the Ministry of Education – Prof. Kwesi Yankah

The president further appointed 50 deputy ministers of state, including George Andah, who is heading to the communications ministry and Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, who is heading to the information ministry.
