Popular Twi rapper A Plus has responded to critics on traditional and social media saying that should the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) go into opposition, he (A Plus) too will be effected.
A Plus, born Kwame Asare Obeng, has been a staunch advocate for President Nana Akufo-Addo, especially during his campaign days on the run up to last year's December 7th general elections. In what could be seen as a reward for his great loyalty, the popular Twi rapper was thanked by the then President Elect Nana Akufo-Addo.
Recently though, A Plus's comments on social media seems to have a more critical edge towards the NPP. A few weeks ago he urged NPP supporters to pressure the NPP government to make public when the phenomenon popularly known as "Dumzor" will come to an end.

Over the past few days it's also emerged that he's said the NPP will only be in power for only one term, a comment that's had some on social media saying that kind of turn of events will affect the artist too.
In a post shared on his Facebook profile, Kwame A Plus has categorically expressed his opinion on the matter, saying that his support for President Akufo-Addo during the campaign season was due to his vilification by members of the erstwhile NDC government.
