Emmanuel Botwe, popularly known by his stage name of Kwaw Kesse, has dismantled comments from Shatta Wale and Fuse ODG saying that they own $1 million homes.
The popular hip-life rapper said that most artists have a tendency to lie in order to acquire fame, although he said he's not like that.
"I think if people are lying to hype themselves there should be somebody who will also be there to speak the truth and that is me.
It is a practice the world over…..artistes pretend to be what they are not”, he said.

Kwaw Kesse says that the there is no way that Shatta Wale and Fuse ODG could own $1 million mansions. He added that there's a way to verify that since both their homes were already built when they bought them, and that all one would have to do would be to contact their previous owners.
“Any Ghanaian musician who claims he has a one million dollar house or mansion is a liar. If I buy a house worth that amount, the person I bought it from is there to confirm or deny it. I have a mansion and I can tell you what a one million dollar mansion looks like”, he said.
According to Kwaw Kesse, he knows what a $1 million mansion looks like since he owns one. He claims that he's built a house for his mother in Swedru, and that he's currently building a $2.5 million mansion right now.
“I have my workers working on my $2.5 million and know what I am talking about. I built my mum’s house in Swedru, I have built a mansion and building another. From the look of their houses it does not look like $1 million."
