President Akufo-Addo names ambassadors for five countries

President Nana Akufo-Addo has named five persons for the position of ambassadors to represent Ghana in Nigeria, United Kingdom, Canada, France and China.

According starrfmonline.com Nana Addo has assigned former Member of Parliament for Sekondi, Papa Owusu Ankomah as Ghana’s ambassador to the United Kingdom.

Also, wife of the acting national chairman of the New Patriotic Party Freddie Blay has been appointed the ambassador to Germany.

The rest are former CHRAJ boss Anna Bossman as Ghana’s ambassador to France, Ayikoi Otoo, former attorney general heads to Canada as ambassador and finally Rashid Bawa as ambassador to Nigeria.

Edward Boateng has also been appointed to represent Ghana in China.

Article 76(3) of the constitution, gives the President the mandate to appoint persons to help him run governance with.
