Mr. Anyidoho had been in the news lately for different reasons too, since the last time he featured on the State of Affairs with Nana Ama Anamoah, GHONE. The Maverick's somewhat cagey answer to being asked if he loved former president Mahama sparking up a ton of criticism too.
But in response to Rev. Owusu Bempah's comments, Mr. Anyidoho blatantly accused the charismatic man of God of being partly responsible for recent tragedies. He added that the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) should "carry its cross", and leave the NDC in peace.
‘’It is the bad leadership, it is the evil leadership and the evil times we are in; that is causing these disasters. And I am telling Owusu Bempah that he is part of the evil that has befallen Ghana. Owusu Bempah and Nana Akufo-Addo and NPP should carry their evil cross and leave the NDC alone.’’
