President Nana Akufo-Addo has revealed government’s thirst to be as prosperous and influential as that of Malaysia.
Speaking during a courtesy call upon him by the outgoing Malaysian High Commissioner, the president argued that his administration is resolved to putting the needed plans in place to ensure that Ghana develops as fast and competitive as that of Malaysia.
“Talking about relations between Ghana and Malaysia, President Nana Akufo-Addo indicated. The relations between our two countries go back a long way; they go back at the very time of independence and they are relations that we want to continue seeing to grow. We think it is the journey that will bring prosperity to our people,” he revealed.
Malaysia remains one of the most developed countries in the world with GDP in Malaysia averaging 79.67 USD Billion from 1960 until 2015, reaching an all time high of 338.10 USD Billion in 2014
