The deputy communications Director of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Yaw Adomako Baafi has asked the ousted National Democratic Congress (NDC) to ask Ghanaians for forgiveness in order to attain peace, something he feels the party is lacking at the moment.
Mr. Baafi said in an interview that the NDC wrecked the Ghanaian economy so bad that God is paying them back for the havoc.
“What is happening in the NDC is heaven inflicted. It is the hand work of God you are seeing the NDC at the crossroads with attacks and counter attacks. I repeat NDC apologize to Ghanaians for the bad leadership they will continue to fight amongst themselves and it may even become bloody”, he claimed.
The NPP communicator said the party while in power forgot the country and encouraged illegal mining activities polluting various water bodies in the country.
For some time now, the NDC executives and some leading members since last week have been trading accusations and counter accusations as to who played what role leading to the defeat of the party at the polls.
