The king of the Ashanti Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has cautioned President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to be wary of backstabbers amongst persons he has surrounded himself with.
Speaking as an experienced leader, the Asantehene made it known to the president of Ghana that some people in his team were selfish and will only be interested in issues that will result in his failure.
The king was also quick to remind Akufo-Addo that no one in his government, apart from him, was voted for as president, so he (the President) must work to fulfil the promises he made to the Ghanaian electorate and leave a worthy legacy behind.

The President paid a courtesy call on Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, at the Manhyia Palace, at the commencement of his 3-day tour of the Ashanti region.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has in-turn, assured the Asantehene of his commitment to ensuring that the rule of law works without fear or favour, and without regard to any partisan, ethnic or religious considerations.
