Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, a Ghanaian entrepreneur and the founder of the Progressive People's Party, has revealed that he lost two million dollars in one day.
Dr Nduom made the stunning revelation in an interview with Forbes Africa magazine.
The accomplished entrepreneur is on the cover of the magazine this month.
The magazine celebrates Dr Nduom’s business acumen, which has seen him successfully build Groupe Nduom with over 60 businesses under its portfolio in 40 years.
In the interview which was conducted by Forbes Africa correspondent, Peace Hyde, Nduom details how he went from a car park attendant to become the first Ghanaian to own a bank in the US.
He described his first encounter with Sam Jonah and how he pitched for a business opportunity with the mining magnate, which later helped him to set up Deloitte Consulting West Africa.
Some of Dr Nduom's companies are: Coconut Grove Regency Hotel, Elimina Beach Resort, GN Bank, ISF Bank (Chicago, USA), GN Farms, GN Microinsurance, and GN Microenterprise Business.
