The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is expected to announce the appointment of the new head coach for the senior national team, Black Stars today, Tuesday, April 4, 2017.

The committee set up to recruit a replacement for Avram Grant was headed by GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi.

The committee whittled down the number of coaches interested to three and have interviewed all three.

Three coaches interviewed are former Black Stars coach, Kwesi Appiah, Cameroon boss Hugo Broos and Frenchman Willy Sagnol.

"The executive committee will meet tomorrow [Tuesday] to consider the report of the search committee for a new Black Stars coach," GFA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi said in an interview with Joy news.

"The outcome of the meeting will be known tomorrow [Tuesday].

The Black Stars have been without a coach since former Chelsea coach Avram Grant ended his stay after the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
