Ghanaian dancehall singer, Ebony has revealed that the “bad girl” label being tagged on her ever since she got onto the music scene is actually her everyday lifestyle.
The young energetic singer, real name Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, has managed to amass a lot of attention for herself since she released hit song “Kupe” where she showed a lot of skin in the video.
However, in a new interview, Ebony says she has been wearing revealing clothes even before she became a star.
“The bad girl brand people see out there is a true representation of me. This is how I have been even before coming into the limelight” she told Showbiz in an interview on Monday.
She went on to say: “I don’t pretend to be who I am not. I am a very bad girl and there is nothing anyone can do about it. And I am proud to say it. I have nine piercings and a lot of tattoos all over my body and this is how I want to live my life,” she said.
Unashamedly tagging herself as a bad girl, Ebony also wants her fans and Ghanaians in general to accept the person that she is.
“Love me for who I am because the whole Ebony brand comes with the package. How I dress, my tattoos, my hair and my colour comes with the Ebony brand and I want Ghanaians to accept that” the Poison hitmaker said.
