Delta Force 13 granted bail

The 13 members of the Delta Force, an NPP affiliated private security group, have finally been granted bail following their voluntarily turning themselves in.

A Kumasi High has granted the 13 members of the Delta Force bail following the refusal of the Kumasi Circuit Court 4 to do the same.

Th court, presided over by Justice Obiri Yeboah, granted each member of the group standing trail a bail bond of GHC10,000 with two sureties per member before they can be released.

The court further required that the members report to the police Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service on a weekly basis.

The accused are namely Kojo Fosu Bamba aka Kojo Bamba, Awal Sadat Abubakar, Abubakar Sadiq Abuhammed, Jamil Issa, Hamza Mohammed, Salu Issahak, Akwasi Owusu, Kwabena Owusu, Kofi Kyei, Eggya Boadi, Salu Yussif, Yussif Salu and Kwaku Awortwe.
