Police, military intensifies security during Easter

Easter is here with us again and already, the police has joint forces with the military to enforce security in the country.

Head of public relations at the police, ASP Effia Tenge, reveals that a joint military-police force has been deployed across all public centers just so that the safety of citizens is fully ensured.

“The Police is concerned about security at festivities of this nature and as such we have drawn up security strategies to handle the festivities. Talking about police presence, we have deployed, per our strategy, police personnel to certain areas that we feel need police attention. Some vital installations that we believe we need to provide security for would have it," she revealed.

The assurance by the police follow pockets of violence experienced across the country especially during festive moments like Easter.
