Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, the former first lady and wife of former president Jerry John Rawlings, has been accused of mocking Ghanaian comedian DKB.
According to a report by the Graphic Showbiz, Nana Konadu recently walked out on a social event held at the Accra International Conference Centre when it was DKB's turn to perform.
The report said Nana Konadu felt the DKB's performance was a waste of time, so she left as soon as he came on stage.
She is reported to have told those around her that DKB's jokes are boring as she made her way to the exit.
"Don't mind him; his jokes are boring," she was quoted as saying.
The harsh remarks from a popular personality like Nana Konadu will come as a huge blow to DKB who has been building a reputation as Ghana's number one comedian.
Last year, he was literally crowned the King of Ghanaian Comedy at an event in Accra.
Nana Konadu, however, denies calling DKB a boring comedian.
A source close to her to YEN.com.gh that the former first lady called DKB "vulgar" and not "boring.
The source said Nana Konadu stormed out only after DKB used some certain words she found unacceptable in his presentation.
Nana Konadu's choice of word suggests that she found DKB's jokes crass and not in good taste.
The former first lady is an entertainment lover, who is often seen at several entertainment events in Accra.
