Miss Earth 2016, Deborah Eyram Dodor, accompanied by other beauty queens paid First Lady Rebecca Akufo Addo a courtesy visit at her official office.
During the visit from Miss Earth 2019 and other Miss Earth Beauty Queens, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo Addo, First Lady of the Republic of Ghana, urged all to endeavor to protect the environment.
Mrs. Akufo-Addo also applauded Miss Earth Ghana's environmental initiative aptly titled, "Trash in Bin". The initiative, thought up and spearheaded by Miss Deborah Eyram Dodor, aims at getting Ghanaians to make more use of rubbish bins in Ghana.

Mrs. Akufo Addo also assured the beauty pageant competitors of her complete support for their environmental campaign, which she noted would go along way towards making a meaningful contribution to Ghana's sanitation.
The ladies concluded their visit to the First Lady's office with a ceremonial tree planting activity which symbolizes their commitment to the drive.
