Popular Ghanaian rapper Trigmatic’s new wife, Edith Adu Adjei has spoken to the media about how she knew there was something different about her new husband because the first time he took her somewhere was to a church.

Not everyone places too much import on the location their new date takes them to on the first “outing”, but not everyone gets to go out with a celebrity rapper too.

Edith Adu Adjei, rapper Trigmatic’s new wife, spoke about how she got together with her cherished beau to plan charity work, only have the relationship evolve into a potentially lifelong marriage.

“We have been married for a month and I remember meeting him for work because we were to work on a charity event that turned into this. We first met at Second Cup.”

Edith related now she phoned up the rapper ‘cause she heard he’d been involved in some charity work and asked if they could meet up talk about a charity project she was planning.

“When we finally met he was telling me how he liked my style,” said Edith, who confessed to having reservations over their compatibility, saying, “I was thinking, ‘Gentleman can we work?’”.

Following their initial meeting, Trigmatic requested that they meet subsequently. The meetings became so frequently that they were meeting almost every day, with Edith wondering why they were meeting so often without even talking about work.

“I was really drawn to him because after our first meeting I told the person who introduced me to him like this guy is not your regular celebrity. He was very cool and humble. The first place he ever took me was a church and I knew there was something different about him.”

Edith said that the is happy that she can look at the celebrity rapper and call him her husband.

“I’m grateful to God that we are here now.”
