Queen of Shatta Movement and wife to self-proclaimed dance hall king, Shatta Michy has responded to reports that officials of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) closed down her pub.
In a posted on her personal Facebook profile, Shatta Michy - born Diamond Michelle Gbagonah - seems to dismiss confirm reports that her club was indeed closed down by AMA officials as pure rumor.
"They never talk good about Diamonds pub but we still popping???????? business is booming????????shocker is still shocking #Ayoo", wrote Shatta Michy on her profile.
Last week a member of YEN's community, Prince Robert Mensah, shared photos and reported that AMA officials had descended upon and shutdown Shatta Michy's Diamond Pub.

Shatta Michy's Diamond created a buzz in Ghanaian social media when commentators released photos of the pub and mocked the fact that the establishment made use of shipping containers. Critics mocked the fact that the wife of Shatta Wale and queen of the Shatta Movement, had to use a container instead of building a proper structure.
