There have been concerns over the increasing spate at which foreigners, especially, the Chinese are venturing into businesses meant for Ghanaians.
The Akufo-Addo led administration have declared ‘war’ on the persons involved in the illegal mining businesses.
Over the period, over 500 excavators and earthmoving equipment have voluntarily withdrawn after the sector minister's 21-day ultimatum to Chinese galamseyers.
