A Good Samaritan who goes by the name Nhyiraba Quojo Frympon on Facebook has shared a rather sad event he experienced a few days ago involving two little children.
According to Nhyiraba, after having supper at a restaurant somewhere in Dansoman on the 26th of April 2017, he heard people screaming which he later discovered to have been as a result of an accident that had occurred on the road.

To his utter dismay, two children, a boy and a girl were the victims of the accident but no one in the crowd was willing to help them even though the boy lay unconscious.
“They were crossing the busy road around 8pm just to buy KOKO (porridge) for supper,” he said.
Eventually, with the help of another woman at the scene, Rolande Amele, he got the kids into his car and tried to find the nearest hospital.
“So saddened by the situation I rushed to pick them cuz one was lying unconscious with blood oozing from his mouth and with a teary eyes I picked them with de help of a lady into my car and drove like 'fast and furious' to KORle bu since 2 hospitals rejected us on the way...” he wrote in a post on Facebook.
Nhyiraba also narrates that while on their way to the hospital, he heard the older child praying for her younger brother not to die, something he said that really touched him.
Finally, Nhyiraba and Rolande were able to get the children to Korle Bu Teaching Hospital where they were immediately taken care of.
Some of the things that stood out to him the most in the whole ordeal were the state of survival for some people, the lack of compassion in the world today and the state of hospitals in the nation.
The post received over 11,000 likes and reactions with over 1,000 shares. Most people praised Nhyiraba and Rolande for their selfless efforts to save the children.
Malik, the boy in the accident has since had a skull elevation surgery and has been discharged from the hospital.
The duo, Nhyiraba and Rolande set up a mobile money account that solicited for help from the public to support the medical expenses.
Nhyiraba shared a video of him dropping Malik home after spending days in the hospital.
