Bulldog, who used to be Shatta Wale's manager, told Accra-based Joy FM that contrary to widespread reports, he never threatened to kill Fennec.
Fennec Okyere, a music producer and manager of Kwaw Kesse, was killed in his house on the Spintex Road in Accra on Thursday, March 13, 2014 by unknown assailants. He was 31.
Bulldog was arrested by police a month later and put before court on suspicion of Fennec's murder.
He was accused of sending several death threats to Fennec, prior to his death.
But in the Joy FM interview, which come three years after Fennec' death, Bulldog said that he was innocent, adding that even the late producer could attest to that.
He said although the case was still in court, the police did not have any incriminating evidence against him.
“They don’t have nothing on me. If I am not getting myself in trouble by saying that because the case is still in court…every month I’m in court,” he said.

Bulldog added that he and Fennec were friends and that he had no reason to kill the music producer.
He described Fennec as a "brother", saying that his wife used to cook for them each time the late producer visited.
He said he believed that the spirit of Fennec was always with him because he was innocent in his death.
“As I speak with you here, Fennec is seated by my right in spirit because he knows that I have been accused wrongly and we are friends so wherever I am, he is there with me,” he said.
