The MP reportedly turns down social functions in the constituency and to some extent disregard party program activities at constituency and regional levels without any justification.

Speaking with the Kumasi-based radio station, Sikka FM, one of the concerned NPP-youth stated that she “...does not come for funerals; engage us on programmes and activities in the area and others”.

They also accused her of “constantly changing numbers” in an attempt to avoid the constant badgering from the NPP youth.

The youth therefore called on her to change her attitude else she should forget to run on the party’s ticket come 2020.

“Even the President who is representing everybody had time to come but our MP will always give excuses to honour invites. Well four years is not four decades”, a livid youth leader stated.

In Ghana, an MP is somehow expected to be closer to his/her constituency and the behaviour of the accused MP is quite different from the norm.
