- She jumped into the water from the edge of a boat
- No one foresaw her dress was going to engulf her, almost making her drown
A bride who happily jumped from a boat where she was celebrating her wedding, almost drowned. Her excitement led her into following the groom into the water, yet she did not take into consideration that the weight and multiple layers of her dress could pull her under.
It took five people to rescue Amy Zuno. She remained stuck beneath the fabric for around 27 seconds.
She was thankfully untangled in time, and the video of the terrifying moment captured her looking shaken although fine after her ordeal.
The location of the wedding has not been disclosed, but the footage has gone viral.
The scene seemed perky and fun for a great time during the wedding. The images capture several guests already in the water, wearing swimming suits. The moment Amy jumps in, the voluminous dress get pulled up all around her.
The wedding’s photographer started struggling to free her, and very soon after, several other people jumped in to help with the dramatic situation.
The moment did not thankfully go beyond a frightful scare, but nothing more. "I don't regret [doing it]", Amy said, adding that after the incident she went right back to sharing with her guests.
