Northern Regional Minister, Mr. Daniel Bugri Naabu, has been given an ultimatum to retract and apologize allegations made against Upper East Regional Minister, Rockson Bukari, regarding the murder of Mr. Adams Mahama.

During the tirade of vicious between Northern Regional Minister Daniel Bugri Naabu and Gender Minister Otiko Afisa Djaba, the Northern Regional Minister alleged that the Gender Minister along with the Upper East Regional Minister had a hand in the murder of Mr. Adams Mahama, the New Patriotic Party’s late Upper East Regional Chairman.

“You’ll be surprised that some of these people who masterminded the killing of Adams have come to take positions in the government … like the Upper East Regional Minister. He was heavily involved in the masterminded killing of Adams… Otiko is a controversial woman in the party, and was also involved in the murder of Chairman Adams,” declared Regional Minister Naabu on Radio XYZ.

In response to the Northern Regional Minister’s accusations, Regional Minister Rockson Bukari’s legal representatives issued an ultimatum that ends at the close of today, Tuesday May 9th, 2017, to write an apology and retract his accusations.

According to Regional Minister Bukari’s lawyers, they have written to Regional Minister Naabu threatening to take up legal action should he fail to carry out their demands by the end of the given time period.

In a related incident, the Class Media Group (CMG) have issued an unqualified apology to the Upper East Regional Minister in an attempted to dissociate themselves from the Northern Regional Minister’s comments.

We, Class Media Group (CMG), operators of Class91.3FM and ClassFMonline.com, wish to dissociate ourselves entirely from an allegation made against Upper East Regional Minister Rockson Bukari by the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Northern Regional Chairman, Mr Daniel Bugri Naabu, which the Minister has expressed reservations about and described as "false".

We hereby render an unqualified apology to Mr Rockson Bukari for any harm which the publication of the said allegation on our platforms may have caused him.

We have complied with his request to retract the story forthwith. CMG also undertakes never to repeat the said false allegation.
