Nana Konadu has praised Ofori Amponsah as among the best singers in Ghana

Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings has praised high life star, Ofori Amponsah, and described him as one of the best singers in the country.
The former first lady invited Ofori Amponsah for an interaction at her office in Accra on Monday, according to a report by citifmonline.com.
Nana Konadu, an enthusiastic entertainment lover, praised Ofori Amponsah for recording songs which she said had stood the test of time.
YEN.com.gh reported in April that Nana Konadu danced excitedly to Ofori Amponsah's music at the Easter Comedy Show held at the Accra International Conference Centre.
During her meeting with the highlife singer on Monday, she said she enjoyed his performance at the event.
She said Ofori Amponsah, Daddy Lumba, Amakye Dede were three musicians she loved so much.
"I enjoyed your performance very well. Keep it up," she said, adding: “Continue with the good works. You’re one of the best highlife musicians we have in Ghana.”
Ofori Amponsah thanked the former first lady for her support and presented her with copies of his albums.
A multi-award-winning performer, the highlife star gave up secular music for gospel music in 2012, saying that God had asked him to become a pastor.
He returned to secular music in 2015, releasing Alewa which was well-received by many Ghanaians
He recently released "17’", which is also enjoying airplay across the country.
