After years of battling rectal cancer, ace sports journalist, Christopher Opoku gave up the Ghost on the 10th of May 2017 to the shock of many Ghanaians.
The family of the late journalist are yet to make an official statement on the tragic turn of events but Chris' colleagues in media broke the news on social media and since then, condolences from Ghanaians, fans and friends of the broadcaster have been pouring in.
While many have accepted this latest unfortunate development, others are still in denial.
A prodigy of Chris Opoku, Nii Lexis could not hide his sadness and heartbreak over the news on Twitter.

Another renowned sports journalist who worked closely with Christopher, Yaw Ampofo Ankrah also took to his Facebook page to mourn with Ghanaians.
