Ghana’s Supreme Court justice gets a top FIFA job

- Supreme Court judge, Justice Anin Yeboah is FIFA’s disciplinary committee chairman

- He received massive endorsement after he polled 98% of the votes

- Anin Yeboah is also tipped to be Ghana’s next Chief Justice in June

FIFA has appointed Ghana’s Supreme Court judge, Justice Anin Yeboah, to chair the it’s disciplinary committee.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Thursday made the announcement via its Twitter handle that Justice Yeboah secured 98% of the votes.

He has served on various judicial bodies in the Ghana Football Association. Justice Anin Yeboah has also served on the Appeals Committee of the Confederation of African Football.

In May 2016, he was also appointed by FIFA as a member of the it’s ethics committee.

Meanwhile, President Nana Akufo-Addo has congratulated Justice Anin Yeboah on Twitter on his new appointment.

Justice Anin Yeboah is among three justices tipped for Ghana’s Chief Justice position in June.
