- Mahama Ayariga has denied being involved in the sex video scandals
- Chinese galamsey kingpin Asia Huang is reportedly circulating sex videos involving herself and some highly placed Ghanaian officials
The National Democratic Congress Member of Parliament, Mahama Ayariga, has denied rumors of his involvement in an illicit video with Chinese galamsey kingpin Asia Huang.
Earlier, Asia Huang was called in for investigation over her alleged involvement in artisanal mining in Ghana.
The Chinese woman is allegedly circulating sex videos involving herself and some highly placed Ghanaian officials who allegedly gave her protection to continue with her illicit mining activities.
No names have since been mentioned of the supposed Ghanaian officials involved in the act.
However, the former Minister of Education has come out to vehemently say that it would be “mindless” for anyone to say he could be involved in such a scandal.
“I have become aware of the circulation of a video on social media purportedly showing me engaged in a sexual intercourse with a lady of Asian origin.
“Those involved in this dastardly and barbaric act seems to suggest that I provided the lady and her company with a licence to engage in “galamsey” mining during my tenure as the Minister of Environment, Science Technology and Innovation in exchange of sexual favors,” the statement on his Facebook wall said.
He stated that he was proud that the “people of Bawku” had chosen him as their legislator and he would not stoop so low.
However, the said secret video recordings and photos purported to be the sexual encounters between the Chinese galamsey queen, and some top security officers and politicians in the country have popped up.
