Chief executive officer of (CEO) EIB Network and Empire group of companies, Bola Ray, has been honored for his contribution to various charities over the past year.
Born Nathan Anokye-Adisi and popularly known as Bola Ray, the CEO of EIB Network and Empire group of companies’ philanthropic work has finally been recognized by society… and in a classy way at that.
In a very positive turn of events, Bola Ray has been awarded the title of Individual Philanthropist of the Year. Bola Ray was one of six honored at the National Philanthropy Forum-Ghana’s (NPFG) awards ceremony held at the International Conference Center

Being a busy man, Bola Ray received his crystal plaque at his ‘Platinum Place’ office in Accra. The plaque bearing the inscription “In recognition of your proven record of exceptional generosity and charitable endeavors” was presented to him by a NPFG delegation led by the group’s president, Dr. Ben Ocra.

Ever the humble giant, Bola Ray expressed pleasure at being honored with the award, saying that he was happy to have received the honors among many others who he felt made greater philanthropic contributions.
Bola Ray's award comes on the back of numerous obvious and unsung contributions to some of society's less privileged. The celebrated broadcaster's many contributions to orphanages - among other charities - are sure to have played a part in prompting the NPFG group to reward him with this latest humanitarian recognition.
Recently he [Bola Ray] was part of a delegation which presented the EIB Network's contribution to Ghana's 60th anniversary celebrations (@60).
