- Nana Addo is visiting the Volta Region on a two day tour
- His visit is aimed at strengthening relations with the people of the Volta region
The president is visiting the Volta Region to interact with party supporters and sympathizers. Nana Addo’s visit to the Volta region is the first ever since he won the knife-edged elections in December 2016.

According to a statement from the presidency, Nana Addo will also take time off his busy schedules to visit various schools and public institutions.
His visit forms part of government’s plans to gain the admiration of the Volta region which has been the strong hold of the ruling National Democratic Congress since 1992.
Volta chiefs and traditional leaders including the president of the national house of chiefs, Togbe Afede XIV are also expected to have lunch with the president.

Nana Addo will crown his visit with a rally at the Kpoanyigba Park in Ho where thousands of party supporters and members of members of the public are expected to converge and celebrate his victory in the 2016 elections.
