- GFA names new Black Stars backroom staff
- Kwesi Appiah has two assistants in Ibrahim Tanko and Maxwell Konadu
- Stephen Appiah and Richard Kingson are the other new additions to the technical team
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Tuesday the backroom staff who will help Kwesi Appiah run the senior national team, Black Stars.
The new Black Stars backroom staff has former Ghana striker, Ibrahim Tanko as first assistant and Maxwell Konadu now second assistant coach of the team.
Former Black Stars goalkeeper, Richard ‘Olele’ Kingson is now the team’s goalkeeper trainer.
Stephen Appiah is the Black Stars technical director.

The Black Stars of Ghana are seeking to win a major trophy after almost 30years of drought. The team was last coached by Avram Grant, who failed to win the last AFCON.
Ghanaians and many football pundits are very expectant of this new backroom staff because the team is rich with international experience.
