- These motor riders are feared to have had crushed to the ground after a vehicle crossed them
It turned out to be a black Thursday for two of the vice president’s dispatch rivers after reportedly crashing their in an accident at Tamale.
Spokesperson of the Tamale divisional police, ASP Muhammed Yussif Tanko has confirmed that these motor rider “were thrown off the motorbike thus crushing to the ground subsequently."
It all happened when a Nissan Patrol vehicle crossed the riders just at a village at the Mion district called Song.
The crash is being described as a minor accident as all riders have been sent to the Tamale Teaching hospital after sustaining some levels of injury.
Meanwhile, the vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is embarking on a four-day tour of the Northern Region.
Top of his agenda has been how best government is practically putting in place the needed steps to end the prevailing water crisis in Tamale once and for all.
Bawumia believes this step can be taken especially when government has been able to secure 30 million cedis to fund the Yendi water project.
