- 22 students of the University of Cape Coast have been rusticated from the university

The authorities of the University of Cape Coast have descended heavily on some students who were involved in clashes between two separate halls of the university in March.

The clashes between Atlantic Hall (ATL) and Oguaa Hall occurred during a hall week celebration and left several students injured.

It occurred following disagreements between students of UCC, the University of Ghana, and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, according to a report by myjoyonline.com.

One student was left paralysed after he was stabbed several times during the clashes.

An investigation by the university indicted 22 students, mostly executives of ATL hall as well as the organisers of the hall week celebration.
