Mr. Fred Magniduri, uncle of the late Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama, has made an emphatic plea to the Ghanaian public to refrain from sharing videos and images of his nephew’s killing. In the aftermath of Monday morning’s horrific lynching, images of the late captain’s burnt remains and videos of the actual lynch mob have all gone viral on Ghanaian social media.

In a heartfelt plea to the general public made on Kasapa 102.5FM’s Anopa Kasapa, Mr. Magniduri implored Ghanaians to be considerate in this delicate matter. Speaking to the show’s host, Fiifi Benson, Mr. Magniduri said the family was appalled to see how Ghanaians were just sharing images and videos of the lynching regardless of the surrounding circumstances behind the unlawful killing.
