Reports have that the staunch security detail sent to investigate the killing of the late Captain Mahama is slowly but surely coming closer to apprehending all those who were involved in the arm officer's death.
Reports reaching YEN.com.gh suggestes that the noose around those who perpetrated the death of Captain Maxwell Mahama is slowly but surely closing in on them.
Following the reports that Captain Mahama had been killed by residents of Denkyira Boase the Defense Ministry sent a "high Powered" fact finding force to investigate his demise. The ministry sent two officers and 35 soldiers to the environs to precipitate the investigation.
According to reports, five individuals suspected to have taken part in the lat captain's murder have been apprehended and turned over to the Ghana Police Service presence in the area.

On the other hand, the Assembly Man - one Mr. William Baah - who allegedly masterminded the entire affair is still at large, prompting authorities to declare him wanted. Also at large with the infamous Assembly Man are two women who had been capture in videos of the captain's lynching.
Eyewitness reports have it that the town of Denkyira Boase has been left deserted as scores have fled the town in fear of being arrested in connection to the heinous murder.

recent reports has it that Captain Mahama shot and wounded one person in self defense. The person is said to be receiving treatment at an undisclosed health facility under armed guard. Authorities hope to get this person's statement which could be the key towards revealing the sequence of events that led to Captain Mahama's untimely demise.
Speaking to members of the media, Central Regional Minister Kwamena Duncan confirmed that law enforcement agencies are getting closer towards apprehending those involved in the horrendous lynching.
Chief of defense staff, Major General Obed Akwa, who has already commiserated with the captain's family, also took the time to go to "ground zero", the town where Captain Mahama last took breath.
