Photos provide insight into life of Captain Mahama

As Ghana continues to mourn the late Captain Maxwell Mahama, YEN.com.gh has obtained pictures which provide insights into the kind of man he was and the things that he loved to do.

The photos show that the late soldier was someone who would always put his family first.

Several photos of him having fun with children have been circulating on Facebook.

Here he is seen on a bed with his two children.

He is is also seen in one picture spending time with his mother.

Captain Mahama also appeared to have been a fun-loving person, as he is seen in two pictures playing with a python and puppy.

He was also a fan of Chelsea FC in the UK.

Shatta Wale, who was heartbroken by his friend's death, released a song in his honour on Wednesday.

Captain Mahama was jogging on the dawn of Monday when some women from whom he had sought directions spotted him with a pistol and prompted the assembly man in the area that he was robber.

The assembly man, according to multiple media reports, quickly organised some youth in the town to beat Captain Mahama and burn him to death.

The late soldier's father has condemned the killing, stressing that even animals would not have done that.
