- Captain Mahama's family provide official account for public to honour their late son

- The family also wants the public to be careful of persons collecting monies in the name of Captain Maxwell Mahama

The family of late Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama is cautioning the general public to be mindful of persons who are raising funds in the name of their son.

According to a statement on the official website for the late soldier, the only way one can honour the memory of Captain Mahama is through a Fidelity Bank Account number 1300311201919.

Two other banks sanctioned by the family to help support are United Merchant Bank (UMB) and Capital Bank.

Following the untimely death of Captain Maxwell Mahama, after a mob lynched him in Denkyira Obuasi in the Central region last Monday some unauthorised persons have created ‘Appeal for funds' initiatives collecting monies.

The gallant soldier will be laid to rest on Friday, June 9. the family also said there will be three funerals - One in Accra, one in Bole, the paternal grandmother’s hometown in the Northern Region and the last one at Tumu, the paternal grandfather’s hometown in the Upper West Region.
