You're a liar, God never spoke to you - Mahama family replies Owusu Bempah

The aggrieved family of the late Captain Maxwell Mahama has come out to state that Ghanaians should ignore the prophecy of Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah.

Earlier, the founder of the Glorious Word Ministry International has stated that the lynching of Captain Mahama was a spiritual punishment for the Mahama family.

He alluded that Captain Mahama’s death was as a result of the “evils” John Dramani Mahama engaged in in a bid to retain presidency in the 2016 General Elections.

The military captain was lynched by angry residents of Denkyira-Obuasi who had reportedly mistaken him for an armed robber and proceeded to kill him at the command of the Assemblyman.

The Ghana Police have since arrested some twenty-five suspects in connection to the the gruesome murder with seven officially charged with murder.

The spokesperson of the family, Zakari Ahmed, at a presser in Accra stated that the family saw Owusu Bempah’s talk as a “big lie”.

They called on the Man of God to “go and sleep where he slept again and seek clarification from God.”

In an interview with journalists after the press conference, Ahmed reiterated his points noting that the family believes that what happened to their “son” can happen to anyone.

He drew a sharp contrast between fetish priest, Kwaku Bonsam and Owusu Bempah saying that the fetish priest even called the family to express his condolences.

Ahmed stated that the family believe Kwaku Bonsam will make it to heaven instead of Owusu Bempah.

“If Owusu Bempah will go on air and say that about Mahama [then] is a big lie and he should stop it… he only wants to seek attention and must stop it,” Ahmed stressed.

The family revealed that Captain Mahama will be buried Friday, June 9, 2017 at the Military Cemetery.
