The family house of the late Captain Maxwell Mahama became a hub of emotions on Monday, as friends and family members gathered to mark one-week of his demise.
Maxwell Mahama met his untimely death exactly a week today when he was lynched in Denkyira-Obuasi on suspicion of being an armed robber.
News of the army captain’s death shook the entire country, leading to tributes pouring in from all angles.

At least 42 persons have so far been arrested in connection with the gruesome murder of the former army captain, with many others still on the run, according to the police.
The family of the deceased stated during a press conference last Friday that there will three funerals for the Captain.
However, the atmosphere around the family house on Monday was filled with so much emotion, leaving many of the persons present in tears.
A number of friends, as well as former government officials, were present to commiserate with the family of the late Captain.
Notable among the personalities present were the former Attorney-General Betty Mould Iddrisu, former Chief of Defence Staff Samson Oje and former Foreign Affairs Minister Hanna Tetteh.

Mother of the late soldier, Mrs Veronica Bamford-Addy, looked pensive as she mourned her son. Friends and other family members of the late Captain Mahama could also not hold back as the tears poured out.
The late Maxwell Mahama left behind a wife and two children.
