Reports of the assault of an anonymous police officer at the Uadarra barracks in the Ashanti regional capital of Kumasi has been made.

Starrfmonline.com is claiming that the police officer was treated roughly after a disagreement with him and some alleged soldiers who had instructed that he does not use the thoroughfare at the barracks.
YEN is yet to confirm these reports but what we can relate to is the seeming tensions among some soldiers over the unfortunate killing of one of their own, Major Maxwell Mahama. The captain, who got killed by an angry mob at Denkyira-Obuase after being mistaken for a criminal, has seen millions of concerned Ghanaians including the president, Akufo-Addo pledge governments
Meanwhile, the head of police crime unit in the region, Peter Baba is reported to have told the media that his outfit is investigating the scuffle between the police officer and the soldiers.

Six females have been arrested in connection with the barbaric murder of Maxwell Adam Mahama at Denkyira Obuasi in the Central Region. The police say they have arrested 42 people so far alleged to have played various roles in the lynching of Mayor Mahama.
