The Ghana national team is at the verge of losing another young footballer to a foreign nation. Kingsley Sarfo, 22, who plays his football in Sweden for IK Sirius has been excluded from the 30-man call up for the AFCON qualifiers against Ethiopia and two other friendly matches against the United States of America and Mexico.
The footballer has in recent times been approached by the football governing body in Sweden to accept a national call-up to the Blue-Yellow team.
Interest in the rising star shot up after his impressive performances in the Swedish top-flight Allsvenskan League.
In an interview granted to Kumasi-based Nhyira FM, assistant Ghana coach, Ibrahim Tanko revealed that the midfielder had been excluded from the current 30-man provisional squad, affirming rumors that the youngster is unsettled as to which country to play for.
Ghana FA is courting ambitions of getting the youngster to play for the Ghana National team but they are leaving the decision to the footballer.
Being a full Ghanaian born to Ghanaian parents, the footballer left the country to play his football in Sweden after a short time playing football in Ghana.
The 22-year old is expected to make a decision soon as to which national team to play for. He is yet to acquire his Swedish citizenship.
