A Ghanaian woman called Georgina Obiero transformed her talent and creativity with placing head wraps into a booming business.

After not knowing what to do with her hair when one day she did not have time or money to arrange it, Obiero came up with the idea of wrapping it.

Pretty -and talented- young lady.

Obiero started hiding her hair under beautifully arranged head wraps, and slowly became famous for them. People from her neighborhood started calling her “Queen of Head Wraps”, and then “Mama Africa”

She started applying her technique for professional purposes, and began styling people’s heads. Her talent became so well-known, that celebrities looked to have their head wraps placed by Obiero. She styled Sheila Mwanyigha and Miss India Kenya 2014.

Obiero currently studies at the University of Nairobi, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in psychology.

Her academic work has not stopped this young dynamo to grow in her talents. She has worked as a model, and goes on with her head wrapping firm.
