Latest development: Is the wife of late Major Mahama three months pregnant?

Wife of late Major Maxwell Adam Mahama is reportedly three months pregnant, according to peacefmonline.com.

A Peace FM reporter visited the family and discovered the pregnancy information during the visit.

Barbara Mahama is the 26-year-old widow and already has two kids with the gallant soldier.

The untimely death of Mahama has been widely condemned by Ghanaians and the perpetrators are been sought after.

He was the commander of a military detachment stationed at Diaso, close to Denkyira Obuasi in the Central Region.

On Monday, May 29, Major Mahama was lynched by residence of Denkyira Obuasi at the behest of the Assemblyman of the area, William Baah.

Initial reports saw the mob mistook the officer for an armed robber.

The police are investigating the matter, so far 44 people have been arrested and arraigned before court. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has said his government will ensure the prosecution of all those involved in the murder.

The government has also set up a memorial fund with 500,000.00 Ghana Cedis as seed money for the wife and children of the deceased.

Major Maxwell Adam Mahama will be buried Friday, June 9 at the Osu cemetery in Accra. He was promoted to the rank of a Major posthumously by President Akufo-Addo.

Meanwhile, gospel musicians, SP Kofi Sarpong and Women In Performing Arts (WIPA) visited the family of late Major Maxwell Adam Mahama and also signed the book of condolence.
