Trolls and angry commenters exist at almost every corner of social media platforms these days and it seems Ghanaian musician, A Plus has fallen victim.
The musician, infamous for his controversial posts and videos on Facebook, came under attack after he made a supposedly “tribalistic” post against Ewes.
He had earlier written “When I post something on Facebook, 90 percent of the people who come to insult me instead of disagreeing or sharing their opinion have Ewe names. Are people using Ewe name to misbehave on Facebook?”
“Is there an increase in the kind of Ewes people, who believed it when Rawlings gave them the impression that Ewes and Akans are enemies even though he was married to an Ashanti and named his daughter after the greatest Ashanti queen, Yaa Asanyewaa? Or they are just no being brought up well?”, he continued.
The post seemed to anger some Ghanaians who belong to the Ewe tribe.
They took to Facebook to unleash torrents of insults on the Ghanaian musician
Subsequently, the Facebook account of A Plus seems to have been shut down.
