Chuck Kofi Wayo, a veteran in Ghana’s political setting and the founder of the United Renaissance Party (URP) has said that Major Mahama died in the ‘wrong way.’
The politician who attended the State Burial for the slain officer expressed sorrow at the tragic incident that claimed the life of the budding Military officer.
He called for the presidency to the ensure the security agencies in the country are adequately resourced as they are the backbone of the country.
He made these assertions when asked to comment on the murder of Major Mahama.
He added the security forces need to be better equipped to handle response to such incidents.

Major Maxwell Mahama, on May 29, was brutally lynched to death by an irate mob in the Denkyira-Obuasi district.
The actions of the town’s residents have caused public outrage, as many citizens expressed anger and disgust at the killing of the army officer, whose death was recorded and shared via social media.
Major Mahama left behind a widow and two sons.
